I am a freelance senior creative artworker and designer with my own company Poppy and Bee Limited, based in Bedfordshire. I have over 30 years of industry experience and have worked with great companies on some long contracts over a wide range of industries. These included the insurance, retail, construction, finance, travel, leisure, hospitality and the automotive industry.
I am reliable, conscientious and pride myself on being a perfectionist having meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every single piece of design/artwork is flawless and delivered on time. I have an in-depth understanding of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign CC, Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC).
One of my most recent contracts was creating large, complex Annual Report and Accounts for Internationally well-known brands. Over the years I have also worked across a wide variety of print from brand identity, marketing campaigns, point of sale material, brochures, catalogues, newsletters, exhibitions and web to print items. I have created packaging artwork for a major clothing retailer and a building trade supplier with numerous household brands. For the time-critical large publications I use catalogue generation software to speed up page make-up time and ensure my document remained error free. All of this has given me a wealth of experience.
I enjoy designing/artworking for social media and this is an area I am aiming to do more in. I am totally committed to learning and self-development so that I can consistently achieve better results.
